(STRAHROY-CARADOC, ON) - On August 9, 2019, at approximately 8:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol and conducted a traffic stop on Hull Road, in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
Upon further investigation, police determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was requested to provide a road-side breath sample and the driver registered a 'FAIL'. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Paul GRAHAM, 29-year-old of Strathroy, Ontario was charged with Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus), pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
The accused was issued a 90 day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on September 17, 2019.
