(ATWOOD, ON) - On August 20, 2019 at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth detachment were called by a concerned citizen about a suspected impaired driver swerving on Highway 23 in the Atwood area of the Municipality of North Perth.
OPP officers responded quickly and the driver was located. Officers determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the Listowel OPP detachment for further testing.
Jaqueline ROELOFSEN, 40-years-old, of North Perth was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on September 3, 2019 to answer the charges.
Her driver's licence was seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
