GODERICH, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking tips from the public to help solve a recent break, enter and theft that took place in the Town of Goderich.
On Thursday, August 29, 2019 at approximately 3:50 a.m. a male suspect used a large rock to smash out a window at a commercial property located on Huckins Street. Once inside the business the thief stole a safe that contained a nominal amount of cash, two cheques, loose change from a donation jar and a silver HP touch screen laptop. The total value of stolen goods is believed to be around $800.
The suspect is described as a white male with an average build and dark hair. He was wearing a red bandana to conceal his face along with a green camo style jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.
