(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant Detachment were called to attend the War Horse Mud Run event after Brant Paramedics were called for a male who was located vital signs absent.
County of Brant OPP members attended and were advised that a 63-year-old Kitchener man had been participating in the endurance event and had gone into distress.
The male was located and unsuccessful attempts were made to revive the male who was transported to Brantford Hospital and pronounced dead.
The OPP remained on the scene for several hours working with the organizers of the event and investigating this incident.
