(LISTOWEL, ON) - On September 20, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth detachment were called by a concerned citizen about a suspected impaired driver on Inkerman Street in Listowel.
OPP officers responded quickly and the driver was located. Officers determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The female driver was arrested and transported to the Listowel OPP detachment for further testing.
Kelly DAVIDSON, 47-years-old, of Palmerston was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - alcohol
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on October 15, 2019 to answer the charges.
Her driver's licence was seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
