(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) - On September 24, 2019, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint regarding an erratic driver on Longwoods Road, in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.
Police were able to locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, police determined that the driver was impaired.
Carson EDWARDS, 22-years-old of Ridgetown, Ontario has been charged, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC) with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus); and with
Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
The accused was issued a 90 day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on October 29, 2019.
