(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On September 13, 2019 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft and fraud. It was reported that sometime before 3:30 a.m. unknown persons stole a wallet from an unlock vehicle on Sideroad 7 near the hamlet of Damascus. At approximately 3:40 a.m. a credit card from the wallet was used to purchase goods valued at just under $300 at a convenience store in the town of Mount Forest.
Using store surveillance, OPP have identified a person of interest. (See attached photo)
