(LISTOWEL, ON) - On September 29, 2019 at approximately 11:45 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth detachment were called by a concerned citizen about a suspected impaired driver on Mitchell Road South in Listowel.
OPP officers responded quickly and the driver was located. Officers determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the Listowel OPP detachment for further testing.
Jennifer SCHUMACHER, 45-years-old, of Huron East was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on October 15, 2019 to answer the charge.
The accused driver's licence was seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
