(STAFFA, ON) - On October 5, 2019 at approximately 2:45 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Perth detachment responded to the report of a possible impaired driver near Staffa.
Officers responded quickly and located the motor vehicle. In speaking with the driver, it was determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the Sebringville OPP detachment for further testing.
James BEUERMAN, 53-years-old, of West Perth was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on October 15, 2019 to answer the charge.
The accused had their driver's licence seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded by statute.
