(SOUTH HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue with their active and ongoing search for Quintin SMITH, a 23-year-old resident of South Huron.
Quintin was last seen during the early morning hours of Saturday, September 21, 2019 at a gas bar at the north end of Exeter. He was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants, black running shoes and he was seen carrying a red plastic gas can.
Investigators are requesting property owners and residents in the Municipality of South Huron to check their properties including yards, fields, garages and other outbuildings for Quintin SMITH. He is described as being white, about 5' 10", with blue eyes, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with a thin build and short, dirty blonde hair.
OPP have conducted extensive ground searches utilizing members of the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, as well as overhead searches conducted by OPP Aviation Services.
The Huron County OPP Major Crime Unit and OPP West Region Criminal Operations, under the direction of Detective Inspector Pete Liptrott of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) continue to investigate tips from the public.
