(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On December 2, 2019 at approximately 10:53 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery at a business on Main Street in the Town of Arthur.
The suspect was described as male with a slender build wearing a grey hoody and a black coat with the hood pulled up covering his face and carrying a handgun.
At approximately 1:05 p.m. an 18-year-old person from Wellington North Township turned themselves into the OPP Operation Centre in Teviotdale and is now facing charges.
The Wellington County OPP Major Crime Unit, in conjunction with OPP Forensic Identification Unit and Wellington County OPP members, is continuing to investigate and more information will be released when it becomes available.
