(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On November 19, 2019, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a threat against a business located on St. David Street North in Fergus. A note was located indicating that there was a 'bomb' in the business. The building was evacuated until the threat was deemed a hoax.
As a result of the investigation, employee Marjorie Anne GRAY, 63-years-old of Fergus, has been charged with Uttering Threats, Falsifying Information and Mischief contrary to the criminal code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on January 14, 2020.
