(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On December 13, 2019 at 8:32 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a (red) car at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere Program at Highway 21, Allenford in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The driver registered a fail on the approved roadside screening device and was arrested for operating a vehicle with blood alcohol level over 80 milligrams of alcohol in a 100 millilitres of blood. They were transported to Wiarton detachment for breath test with a Qualified Breath Technician.
43 year old, Adam WHEELER from Durham has been charged with operation while impaired with alcohol and drugs, section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and operation while impaired with blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, section 320.14(1)(b) CC.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on January 2, 2020.
