(CULROSS TWP, ON) - On February 1, 2020 at 4:55 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash along Concession 8 in Culross Township. Officers arrived with Bruce County paramedics and members of the Teeswater Fire Department to find a pick-up truck had left the roadway and hit a fence before coming to rest in the ditch. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol.
Robert STEPHEN, 70-years-old, of Sullivan Township was charged with Impaired Operation, Operate over 80 milligrams and Care or Control of a Vehicle with Liquor readily available. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 26, 2020 to answer to the charges.
He was transported to a local hospital for assessment of non-life threatening injuries.
