(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members continue to investigate a break, enter and theft that occurred a couple weeks ago just east of Lucknow.
On January 17, 2020 at approximately 1:25 a.m. Huron OPP members responded to an alarm call at a gas station located on Amberley Road. Upon arrival officers noticed two doors that had been pried open. Upon entering into the store front area officers noticed a computer monitor had been knocked over and a cash register had been attacked.
The premise was inspected by the responding officers however the suspect had already fled the scene. Extensive patrols were conducted of the area including a canine track however the suspect was not located.
An undisclosed quantity of cash was stolen.
