(HURON EAST, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a smash and grab that took place this past weekend in Brussels.
On February 8, 2020 at approximately 10:55 p.m. Huron County OPP officers responded to a commercial alarm located at the LCBO located on Turnberry Street in Brussels. Upon arrival officers found a large double-paned window had been smashed out and two large "Texas Mickey" bottles had been stolen from the business.
Officers cleared the building and searched for the suspect however he was not located.
The stolen bottles of liquor were each 3 litre sized bottles. One was a Smirnoff Vodka and the other was a whisky. The total value of the stolen goods is about $300.
The male suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a cargo pants.
