(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) - On March 23, 2020 at approximately 7:45 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a motor vehicle on Silver Creek Parkway near Dawson Road for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
While speaking with the driver, the officer detected a strong odour of fresh marihuana inside the vehicle. As a result, a quantity of dried bud marihuana and edibles were seized.
John Timonthy JOHNSON, 62-years-old of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Dried Marihuana Over 30 grams in a Public Place. The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on May 19, 2020 to answer to the charge.
