(WEST PERTH, ON) - Between 9:00 p.m. and midnight on Friday, March 20, 2020, a large group of unknown young people put drivers at risk by stringing plastic wrap across the bridge on Road 164 in the Municipality of West Perth.
The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received numerous calls from concerned citizens after vehicles travelling across the bridge drove through the plastic wrap. There were no injuries sustained due to the actions, and no vehicles were damaged. The group had left the scene prior to police arrival, and were last observed walking on Blanchard Street. Police are now seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects.
