(NORTH HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Blyth resident with a number of criminal charges following a domestic disturbance call that took place in Blyth yesterday.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. Huron OPP members responded to a residence in Blyth after receiving a call from a concerned neighbour about a disturbance taking place next door. Upon arrival officers located a couple within the residence.
Officers subsequently formed grounds to arrest the accused however the accused initially failed to comply with demands and resisted arrest. Officers ultimately gained control of the accused and he was taken into custody.
A 44-year-old from Blyth has been charged with Domestic Assault, Forcible Confinement, Resist Arrest and three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
