(HURON EAST, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges against a Seaforth resident in connection with a disturbance call this past weekend in Seaforth.
Shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2020 Huron OPP members responded to an apartment complex located on Main Street South to assist the landlord of the property.
The subsequent investigation revealed the landlord came across the accused sleeping in a back hallway. When the landlord confronted the accused the accused became aggressive and proceeded to assault the landlord. The landlord was able to restrain the accused until police arrived. Further investigation revealed the accused also urinated on the hallway floor.
Matthew BOUVIER, 28 years of age from Seaforth has been charged with Assault, Mischief and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order. He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 22, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
