(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a theft of a minivan that took place in Clinton earlier this week.
Investigators have determined that sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on April 21, 2020 the thief entered into an unlocked residential garage located on Townsend Street. Once inside the garage they stole a Dodge Grand Caravan that was parked inside.
Also stolen from inside the vehicle included several pieces of identification such as birth certificates, passports, driver's licences, vehicle documents and credit cards.
The stolen vehicle is described as a silver 2015 model Dodge Grand Caravan.
Huron OPP reminds vehicle owners to always lock up their vehicle and remove the ignition key and any valuables; this applies to whether the vehicle is parked in your garage or out in your laneway.
