(BLUEWATER, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Municipality of Bluewater resident with domestic assault charges following an investigation conducted by police over the weekend.
On Saturday, April 25, 2020 at approximately 6:35 p.m. Huron OPP members responded to a heated domestic dispute taking place at a residence in Hensall. Upon arrival police met with an injured party. Police learned the injured party sustained a minor injury after being struck in the head with object by the accused.
The subsequent police investigation resulted in police arresting and charging the accused, a 38-year-old resident of Bluewater. The accused has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault. The accused has since been released from custody.
