(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - On Sunday, May 3, 2020, at approximately 12:11 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated a mischief after responding to a 9-1-1 emergency call at a Fairground Road, Houghton, Norfolk County address.
It was determined that a resident was out for a walk when they observed what appeared to be a severed pigs head and various other parts of the animal that unknowns had dumped in a ditch on the side of the roadway.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public, if anyone has any information that can assist with the investigation they are being asked to contact the OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police immediately.
