(HURON EAST, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers along with members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team continue to investigate a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred yesterday afternoon near Seaforth.
At approximately 1:40 p.m. on May 13, 2020 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services and Huron East Fire Department responded to the crash scene located at the intersection of North Line (Huron County Road #12) and Hydro Line Road.
The preliminary investigation has determined the operator of a motorcycle was stopping to turn left to head westbound on Hydro Line Road when his motorcycle was struck from behind by a sport utility vehicle that was northbound on North Line (Huron County Road #12).
The motorcycle operator was pronounced deceased at the scene.
He has since been identified as Allan COHOE, 76 years of age, from Burgessville.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today.
