(GODERICH, ON) - Just after 8:00 a.m. this morning (11June) members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment and paramedics from Huron County Paramedic Services responded to a crash in the Town of Goderich at the intersection of Bayfield Road (Highway 21) and Blake Street East.
The preliminary investigation has revealed a pedestrian was struck by a tanker truck that was travelling southbound on Bayfield Road.
The involved pedestrian has been transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team will be attending the scene to assist with the collision investigation.
Bayfield Road will be closed between Bennett Street East and Blake Street East for the collision investigation.
