(SOUTH HURON, ON) - An Exeter resident is facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth & Grey-Bruce Community Street Crimes Units (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a residence located on Marlborough Street in Exeter.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized quantities of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone and Psilocybin. The estimated, combined value of the seized controlled substances is approximately $3,400.
In addition to the seized controlled substances, police also seized offence related property that consisted of cellular phones, drug packaging materials, digital scales and $980 in Canadian currency. Two replica pellet guns were also seized.
Chad MORGAN, 39 years of age from Exeter has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Oxycodone for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Hydromorphone for Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Psilocybin for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl and Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking. He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for September 21, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
