(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges against a Huron County resident for possessing illegal drugs and failing to abide by a condition of a probation sentence following an incident that took place in Clinton last week.
Just before 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 Huron OPP officers responded to an Albert Street residence to assist with removing an unwanted person from the residence.
The subject left the residence without incident however during the course of the investigation police searched the subject and found her to be in possession of suspected Fentanyl. Further, some checks revealed the accused was currently serving a probation sentence and was failing to comply with a condition of her release.
As a result, Ashley HUDSON, 29 years of age, of no fixed address has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Fentanyl and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order. She has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 31, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
