(HURON COUNTY, ON) - A Huron East resident is facing an additional historical offence after he was charged with Indecent Assault on a Female late last week by the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit.
In May of 2020, Huron County OPP arrested 61-year-old Cameron DOIG on historical sexual assault and other sex-related offences in connection with events that took place in Seaforth during the 1990's when the accused was acting as a golf instructor and supervisor at a golf course.
Last week investigators met with an additional victim and commenced an investigation into an allegation that took place in the late 1970's in Seaforth. As a result of the investigation, investigators have charged the accused with Indecent Assault on a Female.
Cameron DOIG, 61 years of age, from Huron East has been charged with one count of Indecent Assault on a Female. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for September 28, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
