(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 12:17 p.m. members of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Units, with assistance from OPP Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a business at Main Street in Sauble Beach, South Bruce Peninsula.
As a result of the search warrant, police seized dried cannabis, packaged cannabis edibles, cannabis oils and creams, cannabis vaper cartridges and marihuana seeds. OPP officers also seized offence related property and assorted drug paraphernalia. Two people located on the business property were arrested. The total worth of the seized cannabis related substances was over $62,000.
Grey Bruce OPP have charge 30 year old, Mustafa KHEDRI of South Bruce Peninsula with the following offences:
Possession Cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, section 10(2) Cannabis Act (CA)
Trafficking Cannabis, section 10(1) CA
Possession of Nabilone for purposes of trafficking, section 5(2) CDSA
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Ontario Court of Justice.
