(SOUTH HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a London resident with Performing a Stunt - Racing after he was stopped for speeding this past weekend.
On Sunday, September 27, 2020 at approximately 10:40 a.m. a Huron County OPP officer was conducting RADAR patrols on Airport Line when a pickup truck was observed travelling northbound well over the speed limit. A RADAR device was utilized and the speed of the truck was measured at a speed nearly 70 km/h over the posted 80 km/h speed limit.
Joseph BALASCH, 22 years of age from London has been charged with Racing. His motor vehicle was impounded and his driver's licence was automatically suspended for seven days. A court date has been set for later this fall.
