(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) - On October 14, 2020 at 10:42 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a theft of a commercial grade (yellow) 2019 Epiroc SB402 Hydraulic Jack Hammer excavator attachment.
The theft occurred between October 10th and October 11th, 2020, from a field near the intersection of A Line and Sideroad 115, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The attachment will have a "Battlefield Equipment" sticker affixed to it. The unit weighs close to 4,000 pounds, so the unknown suspect(s) would have needed specialty equipment in order to load it. The replacement value of this item is more than $30,000.
Grey Bruce OPP are asking for the public's assistance in locating this excavator attachment. Attached is a photo of the stolen property.
