(WEST PERTH, ON) - A Stratford driver is going to be walking for a week after they were caught driving more than double the speed limit in West Perth.
On November 19 2020, just after 11:00 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a vehicle on the Perth Line 34, in the Municipality of West Perth, after it was found to be travelling in excess of 170km/h in an 80km/h limit zone.
As a result, Nickademus VAN HORN, 28, of Stratford, has been charged with:
Race motor vehicle - Excessive Speed
A seven day driving suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
