(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On November 25, 2020 at 12:50 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a (white) pick-up truck on Highway 6, near the Wiarton OPP detachment in South Bruce Peninsula.
Police spoke with the driver, who was currently bound by release conditions resulting from an unrelated police occurrence. This person was found to not be complying with these conditions and was arrested.
As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged David HILLYER, 39 years-of-age from Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON with failing to comply with Release Order, section 145(5)(a) Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on an Appearance Notice and is required to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on January 14, 2021.
