(FRENCH RIVER, ON) – One person was arrested and charged after The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop.
On April 2, 2024, shortly before 10:00 p.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP were on general patrol, when their Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system alerted them to a prohibited driver traveling on St. David Street, French River.
As a result of the investigation, Patricia SAGADORE, 58-years-of-age, from the French River, was arrested and charged with, operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
The vehicle was impounded for 45 days at the cost of the owner.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on May 1, 2024, in Sudbury.
