(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) On April 6, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the Haldimand detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Concession 6 Road, Fisherville.
Police located the vehicle, and upon speaking with the driver, it became obvious that they had consumed alcohol.
An Approved Screening Device was administered at the roadside and as a result, the driver was placed under arrest. The accused was transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Bailey SCHWEYER, 28-years-old of Fisherville has been charged with the following offences:
Operation While Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
Drive Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available
Drive Vehicle or Boat with Cannabis Readily Available
Drive Motor Vehicle, No Currently Validated Permit
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on May 14, 2024.
