(PLYMPTON-WYOMING TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Friday May 31, 2024, at just before 10:00 p.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle collision on 402 Highway, Town of Plympton-Wyoming.
Lambton OPP, along with Lambton EMS and Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department attended the scene. An OPP officer upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle suspected the driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages. A roadside screening demand was made. The driver was consequently arrested and transported to the Lambton OPP-Petrolia Detachment for breath testing which resulted in readings above the legal limit.

Operation While Impaired-Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on June 24, 2024. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for a period of 7 days. The accused drivers licence has been suspended for a period of 90 days.
