(ENNISKILLEN TOWNSHIP, ON) On Friday June 7, 2024, at just before 9:00 p.m., a uniform member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Petrolia Line, Enniskillen Township, for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
In speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the OPP officer suspected the driver of previously consuming alcoholic beverages. A roadside screening device was administered. The driver was consequently placed under arrest and transported to the Lambton OPP Petrolia Detachment for breath testing where the accused refused to provide breath samples upon demand.
Theodore BLACKBIRD-JOHN, a 35-year-old from Wallaceburg, ON has been charged with the following:

Drive Motor Vehicle-Fail to Display Two Plates
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on July 8, 2024. The motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 7 days and the driver has had their license suspended for a period of 90 days.
