(KILLALOE, ON) Members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid a criminal charge after a traffic stop.
On July 6, 2024, just after 11:00 p.m., police stopped a passenger car on 60 Highway, in the Township of North Algona Wilberforce.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 34-year-old Douglas KYOMYA from Ottawa with the following Criminal Code, (CC) offence:
Prohibited Driving.
The driver was also issued a summons to appear in court for speeding, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for 45 days. The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Augst 14, 2024, Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke.
