(TAY VALLEY TWP., ON) The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Perth-area resident with impaired driving and making threats.
Lanark officers responded July 10, 2024, shortly after 10:00 p.m., when it was learned that a male had made threats and then left a location on Christie Lake Road in Tay Valley Township
Officers located the male at a home in the area. He was arrested and transported to the Lanark Detachment for testing.
Hunter FIELDING, age 21, has been charged with:
Uttering threats to damage property two counts
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on August 5, 2024. The individuals drivers licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension) and vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
