(ARKONA, ON) – On July 4, 2024, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lambton County Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) along with Strategic Operations Intelligence Unit (SOIU), and Anishinabek Police Service arrested four individuals after a traffic stop was conducted in Arkona.
At approximately 11:00 p.m., members of the Lambton OPP CSCU, in partnership with SOIU and Lambton OPP uniform officers conducted a traffic stop on Townsend Line, Arkona.
As a result of the investigation, four individuals were taken into custody without incident. Police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, trafficking materials, and currency estimated at over $17,000.
Jacob KACZANOWSKI, 36-year-old of Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, has been charged with the following:
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for purpose of trafficking (two counts)
Failure to comply with release order
Todd LUCAS, 52-year-old of Petrolia, Jamie MILLIER, 34-year-old of Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, and Marianne DODGE, 59-year-old of Forest have also been charged with the following offence:
Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
All accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 7, 2024, in the City of Sarnia.
