(PLYMPTON-WYOMING, ON) – One person is facing charges after the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call of an assault in Plympton-Wyoming.



On September 2, 2024, at approximately 3:10 a.m., the Lambton County OPP received a report of an assault at an address on Niagara Street, Plympton-Wyoming. It was determined that the victim was assaulted with an edged weapon and sustained minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Cain RYAN, 25-year-old of Plympton-Wyoming, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offence:

Assault with a weapon
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 16, 2024, in the City of Sarnia.
