(Lennox & Addington County, ON) – The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver with impaired driving related offences.

On September 16, 2024, just before 4:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Highway 401 eastbound just past Shannonville Road. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver refused to provide a sample on an Approved Screening Device (ASD), and the driver was subsequently arrested.

As a result, Nora AVEDIAN, age 65, of Kingston was charged with:



Operation while impaired – alcohol
Failure or refusal to comply with demand
Driving while under suspension- two counts
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on October 8, 2024.
