(PUSLINCH, ON) On September 13, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m. officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Highway 6 South, Puslinch.
During the operation, a vehicle was stopped, and the driver was assessed for sobriety. As a result of the investigation, Matthew B. NORDIEN, 32 years-old of Oakville, was charged with:
Operation While Impaired alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
Operation While Impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice Guelph, at a later date.
