(ORANGEVILLE, ON) Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one female with impaired operation related offences on Thursday evening.
On September 19, 2024, shortly after 8:30 P.M., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to the area of Fifth Avenue in the Town of Orangeville for an intoxicated patron who was attempting to drive away from a local dining establishment. Officers arrived on scene and were led into an impaired driving investigation.

Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their drivers licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
