(DRYDEN, ON) – Members of the Ignace Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged one individual following a vehicle roll over.

On September 21, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m. members of the Ignace OPP Detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 in the Bradshaw Township.



Police learned that a single motor vehicle had entered a ditch. The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, Suthaharan THEVENTHRAN, 41-years-old, of Pickering has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

· Carless driving

The OPP investigates thousands of preventable CMV collisions every year, making this a serious road safety issue. The OPP remains committed to delivering on its Provincial Traffic Safety Strategy, which aims to reduce and prevent injuries and fatalities, and enhance safety on roads, waterways, and trails.
