(SOUTH HURON, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with criminal offences following a traffic complaint in the Municipality of South Huron on September 27, 2024.
In the early morning hours of September 27, 2024, Huron County OPP were contacted about a suspicious vehicle and occupants. Police located the vehicle in a parking lot and made contact with the vehicle occupants. The officer arrested the driver for impaired operation.
Nickolas ELLIOTT, 33 years-of-age from Huron East has been charged with:
Operation while Impaired Alcohol and Drugs,
Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. The accused drivers licence was suspended for 90 days.
The accused was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 28 at the Ontario Court of Justice Goderich.
