(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual has been charged as a result of a collision investigation in Simcoe.
At approximately 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment, along with Norfolk County Paramedic Services, responded to a single-vehicle collision on Norfolk Street North in Simcoe, Norfolk County.
It was determined that a pickup truck was travelling on Norfolk Street North when it veered off the road and collided with a hydro pole. No injuries were reported.
As a result, the driver was taken into custody without incident.
Charged with the following alleged offence is 48-year-old Kristy THOMPSON of Norfolk County:
Dangerous operation.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
