(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)
have charged two people with impaired driving in separate incidents over the weekend.
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, shortly after 5:00 p.m., L&A County OPP were called by a community
member regarding a vehicle that had failed to stop at multiple stop signs and was travelling at
high rates of speed before it entered the drive-thru of a local business.
Police attended and following an investigation, Obaidullah YOUSOFI, a 31-year-old male from Toronto
was charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation while impaired over 80mgs of alcohol
On Sunday, November 17, 2024, just before 7:00 p.m., L&A County OPP were called to the scene of a
two-vehicle collision on County Road 41 in Greater Napanee. No one was injured in the crash.
Following an investigation, Richard STANLEY, a 38-year-old male from Roblin was charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation while impaired over 80mgs of alcohol
Careless driving
Both of the accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of
Justice in Greater Napanee on December 12, 2024. Their drivers licences were suspended for 90
days, and their vehicles were impounded.
