(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) On November 23, 2024, at approximately 7:45 p.m. members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment attended the scene of a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Forfar Street, Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, Kyle D. ROWE, 40 years-old of Fergus, was charged with:
Operation While Impaired alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
Operation While Impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice Guelph, on December 6, 2024.
TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES
(MINTO, ON) On November 24, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m. an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Elora Street South, Harriston.
As a result of the investigation, Blake KAVANAGH, 21 years-old of Hanover, was charged with:
Operation While Impaired alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
Operation While Impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice Guelph, on December 3, 2024.

(MAPLETON, ON) On November 23, 2024, at approximately 5:00 a.m., an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Wellington Road 17, Mapleton.
As a result of the investigation, Cory KING, 43 years-old of Hanover, was charged with:
Operation While Impaired alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
Operation While Impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice Guelph, on December 3, 2024.
