(MONO, ON) Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 29-year-old Markdale resident with impaired operation related offences on Sunday afternoon.
On November 24, 2024, at approximately 4:13 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to a vehicle in a ditch on 5 Sideroad in the Town of Mono. Upon arrival, officers had a brief conversation with the driver, which quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.
Lianne RAMBARAN, a 29-year-old female, from Markdale has been charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their drivers licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
